A MODEL of the classic steam boat of the kind which used to take wealthy Victorian and Edwardian families on Lakeland cruises could make up to £1,200 at auction on Wednesday, April 25.
The very detailed and steam-powered model of a Windermere launch was built by Ivor Dolling, of Chesham and is 104cm in length.
It is included (LOT 130) in a sale by auctioneers Dreweatts 1759, of Newbury, Berkshire, with a guide price of between £800 and £1,200.
