BARROW AFC manager Pete Wild says tomorrow’s game against Mansfield Town could come down to the fine margins.

The Bluebirds know that victory over The Stags at Holker Street means they have made the play-offs.

Having suffered defeat in midweek at home to Bradford City – a fifth loss in six games – Wild says his side need to make sure they get the key little moments right.

He said: “Across probably three-quarters of the season we have been able to deliver lots and lots of 90 minutes of error-free football.

“So, it’s not as though it’s a new concept, it’s not as though it’s something that is alien to us. It’s just trying to find the right bits at the right moments to get us over the line.”

Wild says he won’t be making any sweeping or drastic changes, and believes that as long as his team can stick to the gameplan and cut out the errors they won’t go far wrong.

He added: “The gameplan has got us this far. It has got us sitting in the play-offs with a game to go, so it would be absolute madness to try to change now.

“Tomorrow is a big game we all know that, and everybody will be doing everything we can to get us over the line, and if we are the best version of ourselves hopefully we can achieve that.”
