BARROW Raiders directors are meeting tonight to discuss the future of the club after gaining promotion to National League One, writes PAUL TURNER.
And club chief executive Des Johnston will sit down with the rest of the board at Craven Park tonight to go over plans for next year’s campaign – including the status of both players and coaches.
Johnston, who has ploughed much of his own money into the club over the past two years with the aim of gaining promotion, said: “We will be discussing just about everything.
“There are lots of people’s futures to be discussed, players and everyone at the club.
“We will see where we are and what is happening.
“We want to find out what everyone is doing, Mick Cassidy and everyone like that.
“Things are up in the air at the moment and everyone has their opinions on what is going on, but at the end of the day, everything will be done for the best of the club.”
Coach Dave Clark signed a two-year deal ahead of the season and, while others’ futures are up for discussion, Johnston added: “You hear things about what is happening, but he has got my full backing.”
