MESSAGES of congratulation have been flooding in for Barrow Raiders after their promotion to National League One.
And the well wishers were not confined to the Furness Peninsula, with George Tranter writing from the Middle East: “Congrats Barrow. I am in the middle of the desert in Saudi Arabia. It is great to have news from home, I get online late evening and I can read the Evening Mail. I hear the soccer are doing well, great for the Town. Good Luck for the new season.”
Closer to home, Gaz Martin wrote: “Well done to the players, BoD, Dave C (Dave Clark) and all others concerned. Looking to watching the Raiders in Division 1.”
Another supporter, Joe Attard, added: “Well done lads, great result. Be getting my season ticket for league 1 now, fantastic season.”
And Mike added: “Well done lads, great and fully deserved news. Proud Barrovian.”
KT HUNTER was another supporter who has followed the side through the season. He wrote: “Well done Raiders. Although I am at uni in Chester, I have enjoyed being at home for the summer holidays and watching the home games with my nana.We are both looking forward to next season!”
