Five fire crews from across south Cumbria headed to
yesterday to tackle two separate incidents.Crews were alerted at 1.50pm yesterday to a large outbuilding fire in

Pumps from
, Broughton, Ulverston and Barrow rushed to the scene where firefighters used one hose reel jet and foam to tackle the fire inside the 20 metre by 40 metre building.A portable pump was also used to supply water to the incident and environmental packs to contain water and foam run off to prevent it from entering nearby water sources and drains.
While crews from the Millom area continued to battle the blaze into the early evening, another fire broke out just a few minutes later.

Reports were made of a small grass and gorse fire in
, Millom, shortly after 2pm and a second pump from made its way to to extinguish the fire with water.
