A MAN who went missing in South Cumbria has been located by a mountain rescue team.
Michael Griffiths, from Warrington, was last seen at Grange Farm, Waberthwaite, at about 6pm on Sunday when he went out for a walk.
Police were concerned for the 69-year-old's welfare as he suffers from Alzheimer’s.
However, Mr Griffiths was spotted by a member of the public and located by Wasdale Mountain Rescue Team on a crag near Muncaster last night.
He was taken to West Cumberland Hospital by ambulance for assessment.
Police have thanked members of the public and Wasdale Mountain Rescue Team for their help in the search.
