IRISH pop sensations, Boyzone, wowed the Cartmel crowds with hit after hit.
Thousands of music fans were singing and dancing the night away to the sounds of pop favourites Ronan Keating, Keith Duffy, Mikey Graham and Shane Lynch, in the evening sun at Cartmel Racecourse.
The chart toppers opened the Friday night show with the upbeat classic Picture of You.
The jovial crowds were then treated to hits including Words, Baby Can I Hold You and When The Going Gets Tough.
The Irish charmers thanked the fans for their support over the years, as the 2018 tour celebrates 25th anniversary of Boyzone.
The show also included the vocals of late band member Stephen Gately.
Nurses and Boyzone fans from the Day Surgery at Westmorland General Hospital, Kendal, loved the event. Annwen Sisson, 40, of Burton-in-Kendal, said: "We like to go out together and this is brilliant. I've been a fan of Boyzone since I was 16. My first concert was Boyzone."
Her colleague Karen Mason, 49, of Kendal, said: "It's great, we are enjoying Boyzone, friends and the sun."
Sophie Barker, 15, of Wood Broughton, who was in the crowd with family and friends, said: "We've enjoyed the races in the sun and now Boyzone. It's amazing to have concerts like this at Cartmel."
Also dancing along to the tunes were Amanda Fishwick, 49, of Milnthorpe, and Donna Smith, 47, of Grange. Mrs Fishwick, said: "We are big Boyzone fans. It's amazing to have this concert on our doorstep. We are over the moon."
Boyzone, are one of the UK and Ireland’s most successful bands having sold 25 million records worldwide by 2013. They have had 21 singles in the top 40 UK charts, including six UK number one singles.
The successful Boyzone concert follows other hit live music concerts at Cartmel from Tom Jones, Simply Red and Jools Holland.
The concert followed a full day of racing action at the Lake District course in glorious sunshine.
