TWO men from Barrow are this morning due to appear in court after being charged with causing unlawful wounding, drugs offences and possession of a hammer.
Police were called to a property in Middle Cliff in Ormsgill at around 10.30am on Monday after a man suffered serious injuries during an alleged stabbing.
The victim, a 29-year-old Barrow man, was taken to Furness General Hospital and was discharged later that day.
Two men were arrested and have now both been charged.
Jordan Azli Graham, 29, of Crummock Drive in Barrow, has been charged with possession with intent to supply a Class A drug - cocaine; and possession of an offensive weapon - a hammer.
Michael Andrew McGeown, 33, of Sowerby Avenue in Barrow but previously from Manchester, has been charged with unlawful wounding with intent.
Graham and McGeown are due to appear at Furness Magistrates' Court today.
