POLICE were called after reports two teenage girls were harassed by a group of men at the weekend.
A 15-year-old and a 13-year-old girl were walking on Hindpool Road towards Walney, coming from Hollywood park, when the incident happened around 8pm on Sunday August 7.
It is believed the girls were approached by three Asian males aged between 25 and 30 who were in a white car.
A man described as having a beard and wearing glasses is reported to have asked them to get into the vehicle.
The men were also thought to be taking photos of the girls on their mobile phones.
Police are appealing for any witnesses that may have been in the area and saw the vehicles involved in the incident.
