POLICE have named a woman found dead at her Barrow home yesterday.
Rose Potter, aged 54, was found after police were contacted over concerns for her welfare.
Her death is not believed to be suspicious at this stage.
Detective Sergeant Mike Wallace said: "At 4.30pm Friday, July 1 Barrow police were called to an address at in Anson Street, Barrow, following a concern for welfare call regarding the occupant.
"Access was gained to the flat and the body of a deceased female located inside.
"CID Officers attended the scene and following initial stage enquiries the female in question was identified to be Rose Potter aged 54.
"There do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances and HM Coroner has been informed.’
