STUDENTS let out shrieks of joy and others were left speechless by their GCSE achievements at a Barrow school.
St Bernard's Catholic High School's Hannah Alarakia-Charles and Oliver Jefferson were two of the four students at the secondary who achieved the A^ super grade in further maths.
Hannah also gained four A*s, four As and a B and is off to Barrow Sixth Form College. She said: "I feel really good, ecstatic.
"This is an amazing school, the best school. It has great teachers."
Oliver also collected two A*s, three As and four Bs, and is also heading to Barrow sixth form. He said: "I'm delighted with my results. My teachers have helped me to get these good grades."

Head girl Georgia Cooper said: "I feel like the hard work has paid off" when she achieved two A*s, five As and three Bs.
The student, who is going to Ulverston Victoria High School Sixth Form, wants to become a GP.
She said: "This is a fantastic school and I was very proud to have the role of head girl."
Joe Atkinson was proud of his top grades and his apprentice designer place at BAE Systems. He collected five As, three Bs and two Cs.
Joe said: "I feel proud and happy. I worked hard. I feel I have reached my potential. The teachers here are great.
"I'm looking forward to starting my apprenticeship."

The school also says a number of students achieve 100 per cent in chemistry.
Headteacher Mary Page, said: "This day is all about individual students and their wonderful achievements. Congratulations to them and our staff who go above and beyond."
Mrs Page said this summer's results are better than last year under the old GCSE measures and they are in a "positive place" under the new measures.
