A wholesaler which has stores across Cumbria is recalling bottles of tomato ketchup because it could contain pieces of plastic.
Booker is asking customers to take back a particular batch of Happy Shopper Ketchup and not to consumed it.
The 440g bottle with a best before end date of March 2019 - batch code 7269 - are affected.
No other Booker products are known to be affected.
The Food Standards Agency said the presence of plastic makes this product unsafe to eat and presents a safety risk.
The affected product is also sold in some Londis and Budgens stores.
Booker's customer notice statates: "We are asking all customers who have this batch not to consume it. Please return it for a full refund.
"We sincerely regret any inconvenience caused to our customers."
Booker has store in Burgh Road, Carlisle, Workington's Clay Flatts Trading Estate and Boutwood Road, Barrow.
