THE Prince of Wales has returned to Cumbria today for a whistle-stop tour of some of the areas most beloved spots.
This is the second visit the prince has made since the floods in December and is is hoped that his visit will help boost the county's profile on the national and international stage and claw back more visitors to the area.
During his visit, Prince Charles will head to Troutbeck where he will meet young farmers taking part in an off-road driving skills course at Rookin House, before watching a horse logging demonstration.
He will then drop in to Grasmere where he will visit the iconic Grasmere Gingerbread Shop as well as the grave of one of England's most celebrated poets, William Wordsworth.
