DRIVERS are being warned ahead of a 19-day road closure for council works.
A section of Lady Hall Lane near Millom will be closed while Cumberland Council works are carried out.
This is anticipated to start on April 29 and take up to nineteen days to complete.
An alternative route can be found via the unrestricted section of the U4079 Lady Hall Lane, Roadlands Brow, Chapel Brow and the A595.
The notice statement issued by the council explains that the order may continue in force for a maximum duration of eighteen months.
It said: "However, please note that it is anticipated that the restriction will only be required for 3 weeks and only as and when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed."
