POLICE had to be called out after a disturbance on Barrow Island over the weekend.
Cops attend disturbance
Officers attended a house on Dunvegan Street just after 5pm on Sunday.
Police say they found a man from Barrow had been assaulted.
Police also found damage to the front door of a property where a number of panes of glass had been smashed, along with damage inside the house. Another man had to be taken to Furness General Hospital suffering from cuts to his hands.
- A 45-year-old man from Barrow has been arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and criminal damage. He has been bailed to reappear at Barrow police station on September 1.
