Police are investigating the sudden death of a teenage boy.
A spokesman from Cumbria police confirmed that officers were called to a house in Allerby, near Maryport, this morning following the death of the 15-year-old.
He said while officers are working to establish the cause of death, it is currently being treated as "a very tragic, non suspicious death".
Officers are not treating the death as suspicious at this time.
The spokesman added: "Police, on behalf of the coroner, along with partner agencies are investigating the circumstances of the death."
The report of the incident came in shortly after 7am yesterday morning.
Police and the ambulance service are still this evening at the property and are supporting the boy's family.
