Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service.
FIREFIGHTERS went to the rescue of an elderly motorist and his dog after a car got stuck in flood water in South Cumbria.
Crews from Barrow and Ulverston were called out to an area between Bouth and Haverthwaite at around 6.45pm tonight.
The fire service said the knee-deep water had filled into the car in the location known as The Causeway.
