FIREFIGHTERS were called to tackle a blaze after a car fire on the M6 in Cumbria.
Just after 6am, fire crews were called to a report of a Saabon fire on the A65 Cow Brow Lupton at Carnforth. The vehicle was well alight on the roundabout about 100 yards off the slip road of the M6 motorway at junction 36.
Two firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used two hose reel jets to extinguish the blaze.
Police were also called to the incident and said the male driver, believed to be from the local area, was uninjured.
