NEW food hygiene ratings have been awarded to three of Westmorland and Furness’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.
Three eateries in south Cumbria were given five-star ratings which means that the hygiene standards are 'very good'.
The Boathouse at The Boathouse Restaurant, in Windermere Marina Village, was given the rating on April 5.
The inspector gave a 'good' rating to the hygienic food handling, a 'good' rating to the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building and a 'good' rating to the management of food safety.
The Old Post Office Cafe at The Old Beetham Post Office, Church Street, in Beetham was given the rating on April 4.

The Ring O' Bells at Ring O'Bells, Kirkland, in Kendal received the rating on February 27.
