Fire stations across Furness are hoping that more locals are ready to join their ranks this year.
An online recruitment session is taking place on Thursday, February 15 at 7:00pm, with more in-person open evenings coming in the next few weeks.
The stations most in need of new on-call recruits are Barrow, Broughton, Walney and Coniston.
Guest speakers will be on hand to provide more details about the service and the recruitment process, as well as to answer any questions that participants might have.
The window for new recruits opened at the start of the year and one such open evening is happening at Millom Station on February 13 between 6:00pm and 9:00pm.
For more information, you can visit the Cumbria Fire service website and the link for the online session can be found here.
